The Bleeding & Clotting Disorders Institute offers a full range of services within our Hemophilia Treatment Center, Lab and Pharmacy to include:
- Promotion of overall healthy living and quality of life
- Early diagnosis and intervention to prevent complications
- Assessment and treatment by a team of specialists
- On-call medical personnel available after hours
- Education and training in self-care and health management
- Training for home and/or self infusions
- Psychosocial assessments; individual and family counseling
- Assistance with health insurance issues
- Coordination of care with other health providers
- Education of school nurses and daycare providers
- Education for medical professionals on management of blood disorders

Our Comprehensive Care Clinic addresses whole patient care, including physical, mental and emotional concerns impacted by your diagnosis. During a comprehensive care visit, a patient sees a variety of expert caregivers. From hematologists to social workers, a nutritionist and everything in between – patients learn to live life to the fullest, regardless of their diagnosis.

Laboratory Services
Due to our highly specialized are of practice in bleeding and clotting disorders, our laboratory provides many - if not more - services than local hospitals and larger clinics provide. Our intimate setting and experience in pediatrics make the phlebotomy experience less traumatic than that of a large hospital, which can often be intimidating and frightening.
