The 3rd annual BCDI Golf Outing is almost here! We are extremely excited to host our community for the 2026 BCDI Golf Outing at Arrowhead Country Club on Monday, August 10 with a 12 p.m. tee time.

The BCDI Golf Outing is a charity event that will raise crucial funds for a good cause with all proceeds raised benefitting the BCDI Foundation, including improvements to patient program services and the Green Family Scholarship Fund. Inside this article, you will find all of the details about the event that you’ll need to enjoy a fun day of golf with the BCDI team!

LOCATION

The 3rd annual BCDI Golf Outing will be hosted at Arrowhead Country Club located at 19430 N Centerville Rd, Edelstein, IL 61526– about 15 minutes north of BCDI in Peoria! When you arrive at Arrowhead Country Club, parking is available in the main lot by the clubhouse. Extra parking is available to the east of the Arrowhead pool, just down the hill. Check in with an Arrowhead staff member, located at the pun ables located in front of the golf cards, to get assistance with finding your golf cart and to have your clubs placed in your cart. Registration will be held inside the Arrowhead Clubhouse- just follow the registration signs inside!

AGENDA

10:30 am – 12:00 pm: Registration is open inside of the Arrowhead clubhouse. Arrowhead staff members will take your golf clubs to your assigned golf cart and will tell you where to find your cart. Once you have signed in, you’ll have the opportunity to purchase entry in to on-course games during the Golf Outing, plus mulligans, 50-50 tickets, raffle baskets, and entry to the Putting Range contest.

11:00 am: All golfers can grab lunch from Chick-fil-A (chicken sandwiches) or Frank’s Italian Beef (homemade all-beef hot dogs), plus delicious beverages from Black Sheep Coffee and All Shook Up Lemonade.

12:00 pm: Time to find your golf cart and get ready to play! Before play begins, BCDI will present a brief message to the players and sponsors. Then it’s time to hit the links for the 2026 BCDI Golf Outing with a noon shotgun start!

End of the round (roughly 5:00 pm): All golfers are welcomed to join BCDI inside the Arrowhead clubhouse for a post-round Happy Hour! Please join us for heavy hors d’oeuvres, access to the bar and some unique raffle baskets! BCDI will also be announcing the winners of the BCDI Golf Outing tournament, the on-course game winners and draw for the raffle prizes.

GOLF OUTING RULES

The 2026 BCDI Golf Outing is a four-person scramble format. Golfers will play the 18-hole round in a team of four players, where each member hits their golf ball throughout the match. Beginning with tee shots, the team selects the “best shot” from the group. Then each member of the team hits their next ball from that spot from the perceived “best stroke” location. This process continues until all holes are completed. The BCDI Golf Outing observes a two-putt maximum on each hole.

All golfers are encouraged to download the Golf Genius app to keep score of your round throughout the day. BCDI will provide the Golf Genius ID information prior to the event beginning. Golfers may also choose to score their round via scorecard and submit to the Arrowhead pro shop at the end of the round.

During the post-round Happy Hour ceremony, prizes will be awarded to the teams that finish in first place, second place, and the “most honest” team. Prizes will also be distributed for the contests during the round, including Longest Drives, Longest Putts, Closest to the Pin, and for any Hole-In-One’s!

HAPPY HOUR/AWARDS CEREMONY

If you are interested in participating in the 2026 BCDI Golf Outing but are not interested in playing the round of golf, you can still join us for our post-round celebration! Once the round of golf is finished, beginning around roughly 5:00 p.m., we will welcome guests back to the Arrowhead clubhouse for a happy hour and awards ceremony. If you would like to attend the happy hour, you can purchase individual happy hour tickets at our BCDI Golf Outing registration page found here. Happy hour guests can enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres and free beer and seltzers from the bar, plus are able to purchase tickets for our premium BCDI Golf Outing raffle baskets, buy 50/50 tickets and attend the BCDI Golf Outing awards ceremony.
