BCDI is excited for our inaugural Food Truck Frenzy event- which will be hosted at the BCDI campus in Peoria on Friday, May 9 from 11 am – 7 pm!

We welcome the public to join us in the BCDI parking lot for some incredible food and drinks from our friends at Cousins Maine LobsterAll Shook Up LemonadeBlack Sheep Coffee MobileMac Daddy SpudsMini’s On The Go, and The Wolves Den Pizzeria with a portion of the proceeds going to The BCDI Foundation! Not only can you enjoy some of the best food trucks central Illinois has to offer, but BCDI will have vital education regarding bleeding and clotting disorders, fun yard games on site, and more! Here’s all the information you need for this one-of-a-kind event.

 

LOCATION

BCDI Food Truck Frenzy will be hosted at the Bleeding & Clotting Disorders Institute campus at 427 W. Northmoor Rd., Peoria, IL 61614. On-site parking is available, but will be limited. See the attached image to the right hand side of the page for more information. The public parking area of the BCDI parking lot is shaded in green. Please be mindful that BCDI will have patients visiting the clinic during the Food Truck event- so please keep the front spaces reserved for BCDI patients. Overflow parking is available across the street at Kellar Station, if necessary.

 

AGENDA

BCDI Food Truck Frenzy will start at 11 am and run through 7 pm. Vendors may close prior to 7 pm based on their food availability or if they sell out. Please note that the food trucks will be set up in the front right of the BCDI parking lot, near the bus stop.

We invite all guests to stop by our BCDI Foundation table when they first arrive at the event! At the BCDI Foundation table, you will receive a passport card that will give you an opportunity to enter a premier raffle! With the passport card, you will have three different BCDI information tables to visit to get marked off. You are welcomed to stop by each table, learn a little bit about BCDI and then get your passport marked! The BCDI tables that you will need to visit are BCDI nursing, BCDI physical therapy, and BCDI pharmacy. Then once you complete the passport, fill out your information and enter your pass into our free raffle, which includes:

Now here is the information you really want to know! Who will be at the Food Truck Frenzy event, and what kind of food, drinks and treats can you enjoy?

Cousins Maine Lobster is known nationwide for their fresh lobster served straight out of a food truck! They focus on serving authentic, sustainable Maine lobster in various dishes, including their famous lobster rolls!

All Shook Up Lemonade is a Peoria-area mobile lemonade shake up stand! These delicious beverages are made with low calorie sugar Bill’s Lemonade, and make a perfect pairing for a food truck meal!

Black Sheep Coffee Mobile serves custom coffee, lotus energy drinks and dirty sodas throughout the central Illinois area! These drinks are truly one-of-a-kind with dairy and gluten-free options!

Mac Daddy Spuds prides itself on the slogan “Where comfort food gets a hilarious makeover!” Enjoy delicious offerings based around macaroni and cheese, deconstructed potatoes, sandwiches and more!

Mini’s On The Go is the ultimate indulgence: made-to-order mini donuts are combined with homemade ice cream! Enjoy classic mini donuts, a donut sundae, or a plethora of options with over 15 different toppings and glazes available!

The Wolves Den Pizzeria This mobile wood-fired pizzeria has taken central Illinois by storm, focusing on Neo-inspired pizza, antipasti and dolce. You don’t want to miss this classical-Italian fare!

NOTES
